๐ ASI Payments Setup Guide (P5 Terminal)
This guide walks you through the full setup process for ASI merchants, including updating the software, generating licenses, configuring the system, and running test transactions.
๐ Most steps will be completed by connecting to the customer's machine remotely via Splashtop.
โจ Splashtop Access Instructions
- Use the password format:
####.Atlantic.
- Replace
#### with the ASI store number.
๐ฅ๏ธ P5 Terminal Pairing
- P5 card readers are pre-paired before shipping.
- This means they will already appear under the merchantโs PayFac account > Terminals section.
- During setup, you only need to guide the customer to connect the P5 to Wi-Fi.
๐ Step 1: Prepare Files Before the Call
- Create the License Folder and Upgrade Files in Advance:
- Generate all needed
accset.asi files before calling the customer.
- Use the Adyen License Generator:
- Match the customerโs rates with whatโs listed in their PayFac profile.
- Enter the External Account ID from PayFac.
- Enter the Device ID (found under Terminals in PayFac).
- Device names in PayFac follow
Reg 1, Reg 2, etc. โ match this with the Reg# field in the generator.
- Enter the ASI Store # (found in Salesforce > Payments Onboarding Case >
Previous CRM Account ID).
- Enter the Register number.
- This ensures files are ready for transfer via Splashtop.
- Organize Files on Customer Machine (via Splashtop):
- Create a new folder called
asi on the customer's desktop.
- Add the
3.6.2 Upgrader folder.
- Add the generated
store#### license folder.
- Inside the
asi folder, create a subfolder named Spirits Pay Licenses.
- Move the
store#### folder into this new location.
๐ Step 2: Update Spirits Software to Version 3.6.2
- Navigate to the
3.6.2 Upgrader folder.
- Run
SpiritsClassicUpdater3.6.2.exe.
- When prompted to create a backup (Y/N), press
Enter.
