🥤 BottlePOS Payments Setup (P5 Terminals)

✨ Guide the merchant through BottlePOS Payments setup with these steps.

Step 0: Check Terminals in PayFac

1. Log into the PayFac portal: payments.quiltsoftware.com
2. Go to the merchant’s profile → Terminals section.
3. If terminals are already listed → ✅ proceed with setup.
4. If terminals are missing →
   • On the P5, get the pairing code.
   • Add the terminal manually in PayFac using that pairing code.

Step 1: Cash Discounting / Dual Pricing (If Applicable)

💡 Note: “Non-Cash Adjustment” is no longer compliant — all customers must use Dual Pricing.

1️⃣ Verify Setup in PayFac

1. Log in to PayFac.
2. Go to the merchant’s profile → Fees section.
3. Check if Cash Discounting or Dual Pricing is already enabled.
   • ✅ If enabled → proceed.
   • ❌ If not → contact management before continuing.

2️⃣ Enable Dual Pricing in BottlePOS Admin

1. Log into the merchant’s Admin Dashboard (storeurl/admin).
2. Navigate to Settings > Accounting Settings > Additional Fees.
