✨ Guide the merchant to set up LifeSaver Legacy Payments with these steps.
Step 1: Pair a P5 Terminal
- In the Payment Portal, go to the customer’s account Profile.
- Under Terminals, click Add Terminal.
- Select P5 as the terminal type.
- Enter:
- Name for the terminal (e.g., "Main Register").
- Pairing Code (from the P5 terminal).
- Click Save.
- Repeat for additional terminals if needed.
- 💡 Reminder: Each workstation needs a unique terminal and Terminal ID.
Step 2: Guide the Merchant to Link Payment Account to LifeSaver Desktop POS
- Instruct the merchant to log in to their LifeSaver Desktop Account.
- Guide them to click Configure on the left-hand side.
- In the new window, go to the Financial tab and click Setup LifeSaver Pay.
- Have them enter the External Account ID (LifeSaver ID) from the Payment Portal.
- ⚠️ Ask the merchant to double-check the External Account ID in the Payment Portal under Merchant List or Account (top right).
- On the same screen, have them enter the Terminal ID (found in Payment Portal under Profile > Terminals).
- Click Continue.
- Repeat for each workstation, using a unique Terminal ID.
- Once all details are entered, have them click Save.
