Summary

The Manage User page gives access to the permissions of the accounts users that are set up for the particular merchant account that you are accessing. The first user for the account is the one that is initially entered when the account is first created. This is so the system knows where to send the welcome email with the link to fill in the application.

Accessing

To access the Manage User page, click on the Account drop down in the top right Payment Portal. The Manage User selection will be in that drop down if you have access to the page.

Manage User Main Page

The manage users main page has a permission filter at the top of the page that will allow you to search for the users that have the access to be able to, for an example: create a refund, or create other login’s.

There is a create user button on the top right to create new users for the account that you are accessing. The first user is created when the new account is first created. This is where the welcome email with the link to the application to complete.

The list of users for the account is included on the page, it has the name, email address, the date created, updated and the last time the user ID was used to login. At the far right side of the line there is also a delete icon to remove a user.

Status Indicator

The status indicator next to the email address indicates if the email address is correct and if it has been validated through a link sent to the email address entered.

When there is an incorrect email address entered, when correcting the email, the original email will remain in the field until the new email address is validated when the user clicks on the link in the email to validate the email was received.

Manage User Page Operation

Merchant users that have administrator permission can log into the portal and access the user list to create new user ID’s delete ID’s and edit the permissions of an existing user ID.
