- Tip: If a merchant reports their password being erased during login attempts, they are likely pressing Enter after entering their credentials. Ask them to click the login button instead. Note: This issue is pending a developer fix.
- Password Reset Steps
- Log into PayFac Portal
- Search for merchant by business name or MID
- Click on account name hyperlink
- Click Account > Manage Users
- Show Password Reset Link
- Merchants can also click "Forgot Password" on the login page. They will need their login email address. This self-service option is often faster than requesting a password reset link.

- Password Reset Steps
- Log into MX Connect Portal
- Search for merchant MID
- Click "Go to Merchant"
- Select MX Merchant Tab
- Click Users Tab
- Click on user's email address
- Click mail/airplane icon to send reset email
- Inform the merchant that the password reset email may take 2-3 minutes to arrive. If they mention needing statements, let them know you'll provide a picture guide showing how to access them.

- Check that account is unlocked (lock icon must show unlocked)
- If locked, click lock icon to unlock account
