✨ Follow these steps to set up POSIM payments using the P5 Terminal

Prior to the Call

• Activate Adyen: Ensure Adyen is activated in Sugar CRM.
• Gather Information: From the Payment Dashboard, retrieve:
  • External ID
  • Location ID
  • User Email
• Check Salesforce: Look for the Hardware Fulfillment case and save the serial numbers for each P5 Terminal

First Things First

• Plug in the P5: Connect the P5 to a wall socket or power strip.
• Prepare the Device: Remove any stickers and insert receipt paper.
• Check POSIM Version: Ensure the POSIM version is 19.50 or newer.

Step 1: Configure POSIM Payments

• Open POSIM and navigate to: Administration > General Preferences > Authorization > Subscriptions Tab.
• Click Check Now and confirm POSIM Payments is Active.
• Go to: Administration > General Preferences > POSIM Payments.
• Enter the following details:
  • External ID
  • Location ID
  • User Email
• Click Change Password, enter the Payments Dashboard Password, and click Validate Credentials.
• If you see an Authorization Successful message, click Save.
