Creating a Retention Case in Salesforce

  1. Navigate to the Account Details page for the merchant
  2. Click on Cases and select "New"
  3. Select "Payments Retention" as the Case Type
  4. Add "Payments Retention" as the Subject along with merchants name.
  5. Select the appropriate Case Reason that best matches the customer's situation

Follow-up Procedures

After creating the case:

  1. Document all retention-related conversations in the Feed section
  2. Post case details in #quilt-payments-retention Slack channel
  3. Tag the assigned sales representative
  4. Monitor the case feed for updates
