When Quilt first acquired Rain, the existing Payfac was a Stripe Integration, While brands within Rain have mostly moved on to Adyen, there are still a few leftover accounts, specific countries, and specific features that still require Stripe.

Required Brands/Countries:

Working with a Stripe Application

For all brands, the application will be available via a link in the Requirements section of the payment portal. One difference is that it will list out every specific detail that still needs to be filled out or verified on the application. The Account Setup link will be at the bottom of this list.

This form is more user-friendly, and verifying information is usually an easy process provided the account fills it out correctly. Similar to Adyen, we need information about their business and the owner’s identity to verify them to process.

One important detail to remember, this form communicates directly with Stripe. Their personal information like their SSN and any documents they uploaded will not be visible to us.

Bank Account

Stripe accounts' onboarding form doesn’t collect information about their bank account. The payment portal profile has a separate function to fill out their bank account information. Do not forget to show them this after they complete their application (the requirements section will indicate an “external account” is still required.

Once the application has been filled out, and their bank added, then you can follow the same indicators at the top of the portal to know if the account is Enabled and ready for Hardware Setup. If needed they can navigate back to their Account Setup form at anytime via the link in the Requirements section.
