Summary

There are multiple reasons a merchant may need to update the bank account their payouts are sent to. To better protect our merchants, additional steps have been added to validate both the bank account is correct and that the request to update has been requested by a user with the proper permissions.

Availability

This is available on all brands and on both Stripe and Adyen processors.

Process

Permission to update the bank account has been restricted to users of the merchant account that have the specific “Edit Bank” permission.

Note: A very limited number of Super Admin Users with the “Edit Bank” permission granted as an emergency method to update the bank account.
