Summary

This is the process to validate what version of the SDK that has been pushed to the P5 terminal, when it was pushed and who pushed it.

This is done using the WiseCloud portal. Administrators and Supervisors have access to the WiseCloud portal.

Validating SDK Version

Follow the instructions below to find the version of the SDK that is installed on a terminal, when it was pushed to the terminal, and who pushed the update:

On the menu on the left of the screen, select Device > Device List
Enter the Serial Number (SN) of the terminal you are looking for.
Click on 'App installed' and look for the one titled 'EMV'
From there, look under Version to see if it has version 'Em_3.18' installed. If it does, then no additional work is required. If not, then it will need to be updated.

Checking When SDK was Updated

On the menu on the left of the screen select the ‘Device’ drop down.

Enter the Serial Number (SN) of the terminal you are looking for.

Select the Details button on the right side of the line.

On the details page, select the tab for Life Track.
On the timeline you will find the date and time of all updates that have been done to this terminal, along with who performed the update, the Package showing the SDK and the version of the app that was installed (3.18 in this case).
